New Model and New Year

So yesterday and today, I worked on a new model. I wanted one that was a
little more like me. I shared her on fb first seeing what my friends thought 
then someone said i should offer her as stock so i added the first images of 
her on my stock account calling her Melody. Here is how 
she turned out ::

       


I like her.

I've also been reflecting over the past year at what i've worked on and what 
I can improve on. I'd like to get back to writing more. I used to write alot and
lately it's like i struggle to find the words. I also want to get back to using 
pencil and paper more. Sorta unplug more often. maybe take a hike and stop
occasionally to sketch. We'll see how that plays in the new year. I've been
improving my digital art but can always improve more. I know i want a
graphic tablet and a new laptop. Can't afford it yet but if i save maybe.  The
one i have keeps crashing and that is annoying especially when you're
working on a piece.  So I do have my goals.

I have gotten better at leaning on certain friends more rather than just taking
in alot of others negativity. and that has become sorta a life saver. I'm going
to start sticking to my limits when it comes to others more. Because after 3
months of a block that was brought on by that, I've learned i'd rather have
the piece and be able to do my art.

As always when i'm relaxed i did share some artists below. It's sorta a nod
saying i like their work or something. not sure what but i like sharing pretty
things.

After this i think i may play with the minotaur more. Or maybe Melody again.
